Important Dates in the life of BTM:

1978

BTM begins a student retreat for 7th -12th grade December 28th in Alabama.  60 students attend.

1978 – 1985

The student retreat grows to reach hundreds of students on an annual basis.

1985 – 1986

BreakThru incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit and visions are expanded for year-round impact.

1986 – 1999

BreakThru grows to reach 900 students each year from across the southeast region.

1999

A new Board of Directors is formed to pursue the expansion of BTM by building Timber Creek Camp.

2001

Land is acquired for the building of Timber Creek Camp as a year-round BreakThru resource.

2003

Construction begins on Timber Creek Camp.

2004

Timber Creek Camp opens its doors.

2006

BreakThru Ministries and Timber Creek Camp resource over 45 events and reach 5,000 people annually consisting of children, adults, youth, and families).

2007

BreakThru Ministries expands a special needs focus to include children with autism, inner city youth, and Angel Tree camping.

2010

BreakThru Ministries now reaches over 60 groups and 5,500 people annually.  This year over 150 individuals have received Christ for the first time.
