Legacy
noun
a legacy from a mother and/or father: bequest, inheritance, heritage,
endowment, gift, birthright; formal benefaction.
FAMILIES ARE UNDER ATTACK
The family dynamic has been under attack for decades now. With the divorce rate in the Church equalling that of unbelievers, there is no question the Christian family is a system in distress. Many marriages with young children feel ill-equipped to face the daunting challenges of raising children in a culture that is definitively hostile to the tenants of the Christian faith.
ELEVEN YEARS AND COUNTING
For eleven years, BreakThru Ministries has sought to reverse this trend one family at a time. Through our LEGACY retreats families are given the space and time necessary to refocus on key passages within Scripture that will equip and empower each person in the family to follow God’s design for family.
TIME TOGETHER
It isn’t all about instruction. One of the largest needs for modern families is time together. Each Legacy weekend boasts hours of free time for families to reconnect in the beautiful setting of Timber Creek Camp. Basketball, frisbee golf, canoes, tether ball, hiking trails, and more provide excellent opportunities for families to play and relax together.
