We believe that much can be accomplished for the kingdom when women are empowered to live the life God has designed for them.
There is no doubt that Christian women today face a host of challenges as they seek to be women of God. The responsibilities placed upon the modern woman can be overwhelming. So many are seeking peace in the midst of the chaos. For over 5 years each Fall, women from across the state have joined together for a weekended of relaxing, receiving, and renewal. Every detail of this event is planned with women in mind. There is plenty of time for fellowship, great food, practical Biblical teaching, and no men allowed!

We are proud to announce Bethany Barr Phillip‘s return to the Women’s retreat stage for 2011. Bethany has walked many challenging miles in her life journey. Through these trials, she has developed a heart to see others make much of the King. With a style all her own, Bethany seeks to lead in such a way as to glorify the Father through songs from the heart. Helping you to the foot of the throne is her goal. Music is her method. She is preparing even now for you to join her in worship.
Joining us for the first time as keynote speaker is Ann Coggin. Ann Coggin lives in Ridgeland, MS with her husband, Jim. She has two children, Caroline, a Junior in High School and James, a freshman at Mississippi State. She is a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she serves on the Vision Team and as a 11th grade discipleship group leader. She is beginning her 6th year as the Substitute Teaching Leader for Jackson’s Bible Study Fellowship Class and also serves as the Area Seminar Trainer for the BSF classes in Mississippi, Alabama, North West Florida, and the New Orleans area. She loves studying God’s Word and sharing the exciting, good news it brings to the tragic, the ordinary, and the very best days of our lives. We wait in anticipation of the words God is already revealing to Ann for the women of this event.

8:30 – Free time and Fellowship
Saturday
8:00 – Breakfast
9:00 – Second Session
10:30 – Quiet Time
12:00 – Lunch
1:00 – Free Time
3:30 – Session Three
5:30 – Dinner
6:00 – Pack up and Return
