Is BreakThru a certified not-for-profit organization?

Yes.  Incorporated in the 1980′s, BreakThru Ministries operates as a non-profit organization.  All money contributed to BTM is tax deductible.

When did BreakThru Ministries begin?

Holding its first retreat in 1978, BreakThru has been ministering consistently for over 30 years.

What is BreakThru Ministries’ relationship to Timber Creek Camp?

In 1999, under the direction of its first Executive Director, BreakThru Ministries expanded its ability to reach individuals for Christ by building Timber Creek Camp.  Since that time, thousands have been reached for the Gospel through the largest project in its 30 year history.

Is BreakThru supported by an particular denomination?

No.  BreakThru is an interdenominational ministry that enjoys the privilege of working with many denominations across the south east.  With definitively evangelical Christian core beliefs, BreakThru is able to partner in ministry with many different denominations who are effectively reaching people for the Kingdom.  Because of this, we are not funded directly by any particular denomination.

Does BreakThru Ministries have a governing Board of Directors?

Yes.  Since its expansion in 1999, BreakThru Ministries has operated within a staff structure whose ultimate authority rests within the Board of Directors.  The BTM Board is further guided by an Executive Committee representative of a cross section of the larger Board of Directors.  In this way, there are proper checks and balances among all full-time staff as well as its governing Board.
