This December, BreakThru Ministries will host its 34th annual Student Retreat.  With innovative programming and an emphasis on recreation and the small group experience, all those who attend are sure to have an encounter!

Worship:

Many retreats have fallen into a predictable pattern.  BTSR is committed to keeping things new an fresh without compromising all the elements that are distinctively BreakThru.  This year there will be many new morning and night elements.  Without a doubt, BT 2012 is a year to expect the unexpected.  Ty Garvey and Band have already begun preparing their hearts to lead us in worship.  Musical skill coupled with a humble heart allows these guys to invite you into worship with ease.  It isn’t about them… and they know it.

Recreation:

Remember the days when all the games were made up and the points didn’t matter?  Yeah, that’s over!  Every part of recreation this year is one piece of a big puzzle.  Each time you participate in an event, you will have the chance to add to your point total.  At the end of four days. there will be one true champion.  What sort of things should you expect?  We’re glad you asked!  But,  you know we can’t tell all the secrets of what is ahead.  Let’s just say your youth minister will play a key role in your success.

Small Group Experience:

So many things are heard and done while you are at BreakThru.  It can be hard to sift through it all and figure out how it will apply when you get home.  Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.  Your youth minister has hand-selected a group of Small Group Leaders that is second-to-none!  It will be there job to walk alongside you while at camp and to touch base with you from time to time after you get home.  They are there to be your guide.  Many of these SGLs were dramatically affected by this event while they were students just like you.
