“But we were gentle among you as a mother feeding and caring for her own children.  We loved you so much that we gave you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.”

- The Apostle Paul

We strongly believe that ministry is meant to happen within a relational context.  In other words, person to person.  BreakThru Ministries did not start this concept.  It is most clearly evidenced within the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.  Phillipians tells us:

“Let each of you look not only to his own interest, but also to the interest of others.  Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.”

Jesus lived a life of ministry with His children not from a distance, but rather up-close and personal. HE SHARED LIFE.

It is our desire to teach the tenants of the Christian faith in such a way as to impart this approach to everyone we meet.  He is a personal God, and Scripture shows us that He has continually made it a priority to be in intimate relationship with His children.  In this way, we model Christ.  As we seek to not simply reach others for a few days out of the year, but rather to empower them through relationship.  We call this Life-on-Life. It gets complicated.  It gets messy.  It calls for sacrifice.  It requires endurance, but none of these things should deter us from following the example of Jesus Christ. There is tremendous blessing in investing in others lives.

We invite you to join with us.  The beautiful thing about relational ministry is that it has no boundaries.  You don’t have to be at a BreakThru Ministries event to invest in others.  You can make an impact for the Kingdom right where you are.  All it takes is willingness to enter into relationship with those around you who need Christ.
